Hello! I’m Monica Herber, a wife, mom, and New Yorker living in South Carolina. My life has rarely gone as planned. Twenty years ago, I had a powerful encounter with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and my life was forever changed. I left a career in acting, became an RN, and turned away from past “Las Vegas” sins. I thought, going forward, life would go smoothly. Nope! After marrying my husband, we battled infertility for 7 years and lost. We then adopted our son, and he was later diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Long story short, it’s in the unexpected turns of my life where God has exceeded my expectations! Through grace, I have uncovered the redemptive meaning of the “setbacks”. Now, I’m a Metanoia Certified Catholic Coach and it’s my passion to help struggling Christians find real joy when the unexpected happens.
