Kara Trochta
Hey there! I'm Kara Trochta! I'm a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and Certified Catholic Coach. I'm a wife and mom of 3 living in Texas. As a former binge-eater and emotional eater, I spent many years trying (and failing) to meet society's definition of health and beauty. Tired of the frustrations, confusion and calorie counting, I set out on a journey to heal my relationship with food and my body through the integration of my faith, intuitive eating and uprooting the lies from the enemy about health, wellness and beauty. I'm the owner of Bloom Wellness and my God-given mission is to help women, like you, find food freedom and build body confidence so you can be healthier and happier than ever using a faith integrated approach to wellness.
Are you tired of trying to navigate the confusion and frustration that comes with trying to eat healthy? Do you wish you could end the battle with your body and finally feel good in your own skin? And wouldn’t it be great if eating and caring for yourself was simple yet effective, but also aligned with your faith? All of that is possible. You can be healthier and happier than you’ve ever been before. It’s time to let go of the guilt for what you eat and the shame you feel about your body. Your worth and dignity have nothing to do with the number on the scale or the size of your jeans. God created you and the body you’re living in for a unique and specific purpose and mission. Welcome to Bloom Wellness, where your faith meets your health. I help Catholic women untangle the confusion and frustration about healthy eating and discover what it truly means to care for yourself through joyful nourishment of mind, body and soul using an integration of faith, intuitive eating and mindset coaching to uproot the lies from the enemy about health, wellness and beauty. Together we'll walk this journey of Christ-centered wellness to heal your relationship with food and your body, build confidence and embrace the unique purpose you're called to fulfill. You were made to Bloom—to come into full beauty and health in order to bear good fruit for the Lord with your life.
