Whether it’s with food, working out, busyness, alcohol, sleep, or any number of behaviors, most of us have some go-to buffering actions when we are avoiding what we’d call an unpleasant emotion.
The trouble with buffering is that we keep doing the destructive behaviors AND we miss out on some incredible opportunities to meet Jesus. There is great freedom in discovering how you buffer. Listen and discover where you might be buffering and what you can do about it.
